Join a team building AI-native software for state, local, and federal government clients. You will own technical delivery from initial discovery through deployment, helping modernize public services and legacy systems.
Meet with government clients to understand needs, design solutions, and deliver working software.
Build and iterate on customer-facing products using AI coding tools as part of your daily workflow.
Create reusable components, data models, and workflows that support future deployments.
Partner with a Forward Deployed PM and work directly with non-technical stakeholders, balancing client collaboration with hands-on engineering.
Travel occasionally to client sites, approximately five days per quarter.
One to five years of experience as a forward deployed engineer or customer-facing software engineer.
Experience owning a technical deployment end to end, from initial build through customer adoption and ongoing maintenance.
A degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent technical field, with strong software engineering fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, or Factory.
Full-stack engineering experience, including backend and frontend development, data modeling, and workflow design.
Experience with government, public sector, or govtech clients is valuable, as is experience at an early-stage technology company.
Annual salary: $170,000 to $220,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is not available.
On-site in New York, New York, five days per week, with occasional travel to client sites.
