Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company founded in 2017, operating teams across Europe and North America that gather ground-level data (photos, video, audio, counts) for clients when automation isn't feasible. The described project involves drivers using vehicles equipped with 360° cameras and lidar to capture street-level imagery across EU countries, which is later used to improve a major online mapping service.
