Lead a small team of AI Solutions Engineers: plan and distribute the work, review designs and code, and unblock delivery.
Coach and mentor engineers, take part in hiring, and raise the team's engineering and AI practices.
Be the technical point of contact for client and business stakeholders: run discovery, frame trade-offs, and explain technical constraints and risks in clear business language.
Own the solution design of your team's AI applications and stay hands-on in building them.
Take solutions from prototype to production: technical specifications, follow-up of development, and acceptance testing against quality and performance standards.
Apply the architectural standards and reference architectures of the AI platform, and feed lessons from delivery back into them.
Make sure your team's solutions are secure, observable, and cost-efficient in production, including model updates and dependency management.
Identify technical risks early and propose mitigations that protect delivery timelines and solution integrity.
6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps/cloud engineering, or AI engineering, including at least 3 years building and running cloud-based systems in production.
2+ years of technical leadership — as a tech lead, lead engineer, or engineering manager — with a track record of guiding and mentoring other engineers.
Solid software development skills (Python preferred).
At least one LLM-based solution delivered to production (RAG, agents, orchestration frameworks, vector databases) — we look at what you shipped, not at years of GenAI experience.
Daily, hands-on use of AI-assisted development and agentic tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and a clear view of how to use them well in a team.
Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and with CI/CD, containerisation (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code.
Ability to explain technical constraints and risks clearly to business and project stakeholders.
Fluency in English.
Azure (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI) and Databricks.
Kubernetes and production monitoring/observability tooling.
Data architecture knowledge: data warehousing, data lakes, governance frameworks.
LLM evaluation, guardrails, and AI governance practices.
Experience in international, consulting, or scale-up environments.
